Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment
Alpha Omicron Pi, Kappa Delta, Delta Delta Delta, Phi Mu, and Sigma Sigma Sigma sororities participate in Panhellenic Formal Sorority Recruitment. Sorority Recruitment is held once a year in August. Sign up will start in the Spring of 2012 for Fall 2012 Sorority Recruitment.
There may be sororities that have the opportunity to bring in more members during the rest of the year. Contact the Office of Greek Affairs with your contact information if you are interested in these opportunities
Interfraternity Council Recruitment
Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Theta Xi, Kappa Alpha, Pi Kappa Alpha, Kappa Sigma, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Kappa Theta, and Sigma Nu fraternities participate in Interfraternity Council Recruitment. Spring Fraternity Recruitment is an open process and there will be no formal recruitment. For more information about IFC Fraterities please visit the Interfraternity Council Tab on the website.
NPHC Intake
Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Sigma Gamma Rho, Phi Beta Sigma, Zeta Phi Beta. Membership intake for a group officially begins with an invitation to join from the organization. This is usually in the form of a letter from the chapter advisor. Membership intake activities WILL NOT begin until each potential member has received the invitation for membership from the organization AND attended the University Anti-Hazing meeting presented by the Greek Deans. Once both have occurred then the membership intake process can begin.
NPHC Meet the Greeks is a recruitment informational event that is sponsored by NPHC and held every September.
