    Welcome from IFC

    Dear Prospective Fraternity Member,

Please allow me to be one of the first to welcome you to the University of Louisiana.  During your time here at UL you will be presented with many opportunities to get involved and make a difference on campus and in the surrounding community.  By becoming involved on your campus and community, you are setting yourself up for greatness.  Getting involved helps you become a well-rounded individual, while enhancing your college experience at the same time.  The University of Louisiana has a vast amount of student organizations that will suit your personal interests, talents, and future goals.  By joining organizations throughout your college career, you will only better yourself as an individual, and I strongly urge you to get involved from day one.

Joining a fraternity is one of the best ways to become involved on campus and also in the community. The Greek system here at UL strongly promotes leadership, loyalty, respect, friendship, and of course, brotherhood. By joining a fraternity, you will gain lifelong friendships with others that have chosen to become Greek as well. By being Greek I have excelled tremendously, both socially and academically and I can say joining a fraternity was one of the best decisions I have ever made and I hope you will do the same.

I know that you will enjoy everything that Greek life has to offer.  The experience will not only enrich your college career, but also help shape your future in order for you to be successful.  I am glad that you have chosen to join the Ragin' Cajun community and I am looking forward to meeting you next semester.
